Hi, I’m Zi-Ting.

Singapore born-and-raised, Berlin-based writer with a squiggly career.

I started out at 19 in International Relations. Went to uni at 21. Then, led by my taste buds at 26, moved into Public Relations & Brand Management for restaurant and food brands, before braving life as a self-employed freelance writer for technology companies at 30.

Today, I’ve stepped into the Freelance Writer for Luxury and Boutique Hotels, Resorts, and Restaurants era of my squiggly path. Hospitality writer for short.

I’ve been called a do-er, true team player, weaver of magical tapestries for brands, and many other things. Magical tapestry weaver for brands is where it’s at. 😌

I’m known for turning chaos into clarity, staying calm in the most stressful of situations, asking the right questions, and being meticulous and detail-oriented.

  • Zi-Ting pulls the strings together to weave a magical tapestry that the public didn’t even realise they were seeing. This is one of her strongest strengths – being able to project a brand in ways that has been speaking to you without you being able to hear it. Hospitality is her deepest strength and being hospitable is her dearest attribute.

    Callan, former GM, Firangi Superstar

  • You’ve an ability to notice small things that others may miss, which can be so important in many situations.

    Urvi, Brand Strategy Director
